Eastern Iowa Christian Formation Sharing Closet Opens!
 
Do yo have curriculum your congregation is finished with but doesn't want to throw away?  Are you tired of ordering samples of curriculum and having to send them back?  Do you need a word of advice in choosing a curriculum for your church--or of encouragement in planning a faithful Christian Education Ministry?
 
The Eastern Iowa Sharing Closet is a place to bring curriculum or other Christian Education resources that your church has used.  It is also a place for you to look through our selection of donated resources and choose items you would like to use in your congregation's ministry.  The Eastern Iowa Sharing Closet will be open at the Mechanicsville United Methodist Church on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 3 to 7 pm starting on May 13, 2010.
 
When the Sharing Closet is Open:
Bring in items to donate.
Select items for your use.
Christian Educators from the district will be on-site for consultation.
Christian Educators may join in the cluster meeting for the East Central District.
